Ok so at 4am this morning... someone bought an item of mine on a Buy It Now for 75 quid.
After clicking on the B I N button they send me this email....

hi, theres shit loads of these people doing this crap, 3 men went to prison because of this a few months ago. (BY THE WAY, ITS A SCAM)

You have to open a dispute or whatever against them then claim your fees back

yeah, I think you will lose the listing fees, but not the final value fees, wait (7 I think Confused ) days and go to your dispute console and file an unpaid item dispute

Yeah thats what they do, I could get excellant prices on laptops, had 20 and they fucked up my whole thing and I have since stopped selling anything on ebay worth more than £50 because of these people Evil or Very Mad

In future:

    When you use BIN, insist on immediate payment by paypal - until they click the pay button, it's not sold and remains up for grabs.

    Set your options to exclude bidders registered in a country that you don't ship to (and set your shipping options accordingly).

But I got stiffed for £220 as well AND they never replied to my emails.

I was young, foolish and very stupid for posting the item before payment. I only did this for the sale Rolling Eyes and the fact that itss what the paypal emails told me to do. The emails stated that I had to give them the shipping number as proof of sending (these paypal emails turned out to be fake Mad )

When I looked closer at the original UK address, there was no house name or number, so I could'nt even report it to the old bill Mad I very much doubt PC Plod will fly to Nigeria for an arrest Rolling Eyes
