Hi,

I have just brought a CBR 600 FX (99), both of the fairings are badly scratched (not me previous owner). Can anybody tell me where to get the spray paint and transfers from, and also what primer and laquear is required. Im after the original transfers. I have done a fair bit of body repairs, but that was on cars not bikes. Can ca spray be used for bikes? What is the best way to get rid if deep scratches on the fairings? can you use car body filler or does it need to be fibre glass bike pacific? If I have to get the bike transfers from a dealer, can somebody tell me the nearest dealer to Spalding, or Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire.

Also does anybody have a front fairing or side fairings for sale.

Many Thanks

Jimmie

Hey,
I had my whole bike resprayed by a guy in Lincoln, just off the A46.
Made a great job of it, brillaint quality and dead cheap.
All the stickers where made especially for the bike and where as good as the originals, if not better!! Plus they where all lacquered over.

If your just after the stickers i have no doubt that he'll get you some made up.

To get your whole front faring resprayed and with transfers it'll cost you about £100(Going on a quote i got for mine). Compared to everywhere else thats a bargain.

The place is called HC Racetech, 01522702800.

Hope that helps,
Cheers,
Shaun
