I dunno if I'm right but I'm sure they were £21,000 new, back in 1999 when they were produced (and only 500 were made).

And with a top speed of 180 MPH, they were faster than R1s too Very Happy

Nice technology in the engine but overratted IMHO; plus I would guess it has a very peaky delivery compared to a 1000, even if the HP figures are similar.

£21K new and they only fit 'Road and Track' Ohlins! Tut Tut

Seen one a couple of times at the local bike meet (Bury) - the owner wears Ducati leathers though Neutral

(same red I guess). Absolutely stunning bike, especially with Ohlins front and rear as standard. I kinda like the way they look like a perfectly formed R1.... Shocked

Very nice machine, but to me it is too close to an R1 to justify the price for a road bike.

However, I do plan on spending ~12k on a Bimota VDue at some point in the near future. Cool
