Ipod Earphones,

Hello.

My earphones get a buzzing sound from the right earphone, i opened them up & it seems to be that the wire inside is rattling against the plastic, i know this happens to alot of ipod earphones, anyone know of how to stop it like putting something inside?

The sound on them is great it's just they all get the rattling problom,

I just tossed my ipod earphones the other day, they are utter crap. I got some sony ones from argos for 17 quid and they are far far better. The buzzing sound on the ipod ones is the metal mesh vibrating.

iPod headphones are strictly speaking 'for testing purposes only'. my brother just got some Sony MDEX71s, and they're brilliant. Great for riding a bike too; they've got the silicon things which go right into your ear.

And if you're a tart like him, you can get them in white.

TBH ditch the "steal me" headphones and get some black boring-looking good quality ones (unfortunately I'm still using the steal me ipod ones so I can't reccommend any to you )

These are the ones I got as a replacement. For the price, they are very good though if you spend more you could get better ines.

I've had my ipod for over 2 years & it's still here, just the earphones that arn't made that well.

For £30 get the Sony Fontopias, but they do fall apart after about 6 months. They go into your ear cannal and are superb.

For £60 go for the Shure E2c, they are noise cancelling because they are such a tight fit, again they go into the ear canal, no need for a battery back buzzing in your ear to cancel out noise. If you can get the right fit they will be the best investment you'll get.

For small headphones I would recommend either Sennheiser Px100 @ £20 or Px200 for £30.
