Hi, someone has said that I should pop over to this forum and say 'Hi' and show you a few of my past and present bikes...
All the bikes have either been restored by me over the last year or so, or are currently stripped to be restored and either raced by me or sold on to make way for the never ending next project! Very Happy
Good to see a few familiar users on here as well..

There are many more photos of each bike, but to keep it brief I shall limit the photos and no write up.

Certainly not too much money Crying or Very sad I had to sell the wife to get the RC and the rest is just a case of having a good supplier for bikes, being in the right place at the right time and being able to strip and rebuild them myself. I then aim to sell them on at a profit if you don't count all the hours and if I have not binned them as in the case of the RS250 Crying or Very sad Luckily the bikes generally sell themselves

Nice to see more interest in the lawn than the bikes Very Happy
A lot of hours go into rolling it up to send it away to be cut.. Wink

'Rookie' it is not what the RC cost, it is more what it is worth! Wink It did not really cost me too much as I had a mini digger that had not been used for about a year and a mate wanted to buy it. It was already written off as far as tax goes and he said that I could still use it whenever I needed to. It was all a result really as I only needed to add £2,800.00p to the deal..

To be honnest though, I don't see what all the fuss is about when it comes to RC30's. I only got hold it to clean it up and sell it on. I rode it and just 'Oh was that it' It just does not interest me in the slightest Sad Mind you I prefer the manic power bands and simplicity of pure 250GP bikes, so I guess most 4strokes feel dull in comparison Wink

The 'U' is one bike that I should not have ever sold, but I really wanted to buy an 'A' so it sadly had to go Sad It now sits in a museum somewhere in Paris. Very Happy
I managed to find an 'A' which although being 16yrs old has only been used once and then was badly stored away. It is currently stripped right down and I intend to make it better than new. That will be my fav bike when it is finished. I also think that the little TA125 should look pretty good when I get around to doing that at the end of the year.

Here are a couple more photos of the 'U' and some of the 'A'

Hi mate,
Good to know that your bike is up and running, they sound fantastic don't they! Very Happy
The 'A' came with the same style front forks as the 'W', the road bike had the upside down forks and the switch to upside down forks on a tz was on the 'B' along with the V twin engine.

Let me know how you get on and where are you riding?

Hi Eddie, I've come over from VD too, always admired the VFR, what do you mean you don't know what all the fuss is about, it was/is the definative bike of the 80's, pure 2 wheeled porn!

I'll offer £2,800.01p for it, there's profit in it for you!

Very Happy

So how much do you think that VFR is worth?

I saw one that was not as clean as that for £15,000 in MCN. Surprised Thumbs Down

ell eddie, took mine out finally, goes very nicely but not pulling so well from 9-11k on full throttle, after 11 to 12 spins up nicely. Blocked power jets do you think? Also still after a spare set of wheels if you have any lying around Wink

not as clean as yours but does the job!
