Looks good, from the first pic looks like the cables need routing a bit better... And didn't you have some nice carbon cans for it?

A 750 engine in a 600 monster is cool though.

Like the K&Ns Thumbs Up

None of them really need routing better bar the red wires (rev counter that I wired in).

I do have some carbon cans but this one is a whole system.

600 was good for my 2nd bike after my test, but the 750 is so much better, alot more torque and alot louder. I've rode the 900 monster and thats very beastly. The sound is gorgeous if you like setting off car alarms Twisted Evil .

Fiddling with the jetting at the moment, think I've just about got it right but now it's only running on one cylinder Rolling Eyes lol.

600 wheelies using the clutch in first alrite, the 750 wheelies in 1st sometimes 2nd off the throttle as I found out the other day.

Perfect handling very low to the ground and very light, and has decent frame and suspension (usual ducati standards).

Awesome there's one for sale at my local Garage. I think it's an 03 model, 16,000 kms on the clock going for 18 grand AED which is about 3 grand in british money, that a good deal?

Personally I'd get the 600 if you were a newbie to power but fine with chucking the bike around.

Dukes go quite cheap 2nd hand in the UK so I guess abroad that price sounds about right but i'd ask for lower than £3,000. 03 model so it's probably the 620ie? Which is quite a different animal to the 600.

Exactly what I thought when I put it on but the orginal one isn't much better, still the only thing that it struggles with is high curbs.

Erm, riden a few inline fours but not many, the best was a gsxr 7/11, that was very smooth but very fast when you open it up.

'I' think what makes the V's so great is engine breaking and being able to come straight back into the torque. With the inline four I found myself going down the gears alot till I found some engine breaking, also going "fuck, fuck" because I relay on engine breaking alot now Smile .

They do however suck on top speed (power being rev's really), is where the 4 cylinders come into play, boy does the gsxr 7/11 have top speed. But then again if you grab a revy twin it can be just as good.

Laughing The RR i barely used engine braking, just grab the lever at the last moment and bomb through the corner as fast as i can.

Get a ride on an RR the acceleration and top speed is just mindblowing, for us average riders. For racers it probably sucks a fat one!!

I think the only thing V Twins have got going for them is the torque and the sound Razz

Just nailed the jetting, runs like a dream now, was abit spluttery in the middle range of throttle so put in different needle jets (y2 to y4) and it pulls like a beast now. Main jet is on 140 orginal was 132.5. Going to get it dyno'd soon to get a good idea of what needs fine tuning but it's good enough for now. Thumbs Up
