People laugh at me because I despatch on a 250CC, ah but my bike does 90 MPG, can yours? So I'm the one who is laughing now.

I'm self employed which helps.

As for Mr Brown, fuck you!

I know theres alot to say on the subject.
But this site might help a teeny bit. It basically gives you a breakdown of fpetrol stations based by you to give you the cheapest.

92.9p is the cheapest for me. Shame it's about 5 miles away! The cheapest in my village is 93.9p!!

But it's not so bad because I commute on a CB250, and I get about 80-85mpg. Smile

How about taking a week off and protesting with them.

The people who are protesting are the people with job's and a bit of pride left in them, this country just keeps taking shit in every which way it can and it dosen't seem to bother many people how much longer can they get away with it?

The doley's are the people government money is wasted on, why would they protest?

Cost me 2.50 to fill up a 6RR out here, in the UK it costs something like 12 quid, f**king ridiculous.

you sure? , you are not supposed to be paid for commuting fuel , but fuel to be used to go to a non normal work place , so if you have to go out to a client you get paid 25p per mile or something , but nowt if you go into a fixed workplace.

Otherwise you get taxed on it as a BIK

Saw my first over £1 a litre on Saturday.

Garage in the village of Haxey had unleaded posted at £1.05.
Ok, I admit it's out in the middle of the sticks.
As a comparision the Jet garage just off the M18 had it at 94.9p.

Petrol stations around here (Nott's area) seem to dodge the £1 mark. It's quite funny seeing everyone selling diesel at 99.9 pence, while petrol slowly creeps up on it (between 94p and 98p).

Imagine how hauliers, taxi drivers, farmers, etc. feel.

There's bound to be protests at some point, for some of us fuel is just for hooning about the twisties, for others it seriously affects their livelihoods. Crying or Very sad

yeah well more demand = later peak oil if petrol = £1 a litre peak oil goes to 2075 instead of 2040 which is was before the prices went sky rocketting due to lots of other people making savings.

that said people might waste even more,

like the woman with the SUV across the road who can't drive (she has a lead foot and regulates her speed with the brake as its an auto).

or the presence of England flags , which per flag use 5-8% more petrol x2 = 10-16% , or that ridiculous one I saw today which had more than I could count on.
