Need a new barrel for my Rs as the blade on my powervalve has snapped off inside the slot i goes in, and will not come out

You would pay about this much for the standard kit anyway. BUT i dont see how polishing it would make it perform better, it will soon loose its mirrored finish after the first few miles.
