How much should I spend?

I'm currently looking at some suzuki bandit's on Ebay, Biketrader ect. I'm just wondering what sort of price I should be looking to pay for one in fairly decent condition.

I was thinking that between £1000 and £1500 is about right. I'm not worried about the age of the bike, or the mileage really as they are commuter bikes.

I'm going to sell my GZ marauder back to the dealer I got it from and I'm pretty confident that I will get between £1200 and £1500 for it. (Bearing in mind my friend traded his older model marauder back for £1200, and I was damaged heavily.)

This should get me sorted for cash. I'll just switch my policy over to the bandit and pay the extra.( I'm paying £250 for the marauder so I expect the changeover will be an extra £250 or so.) And that will be the insurance sorted.

So, looking at this info; would you say my calculations are pretty much there?

theres a good looking bandit for £1250 I think on my bikeschool forum. If anyone is in or near the north wales area - thats worth a think imo
