if i had a bike and it still had the original warranty and i was to add a different exhaust, would i be voiding the warranty?

If its a 'not for road use' race can and you fit it then I would say yes.

If something unrelated failed (say the brakes) they would have a very hard time trying to suggest they couldn't help because of the exhaust.
The engine of course would be another matter - you could always stick the original back on.

Depends entirely on what the dealer says. Had a Remus on my BMW fitted by the dealer from new, claimed on the warranty with no problems at all.

Thats how I understood a manufacturers warranty, if they fit it then its ok, if you do it then is a no no.
