I admit, I'm scared of carbs. I may be some kind of god... but not with mechanical failiure. So I havent touched them.

Ok, the problem started out as shit and rust in the fuel tank, which then made its way to the fuel filter and starved the bike of fuel whilst I was on a bit of a blast. Bought a new fuel pump as that got furked too, cleaned out the inside of the tank with ball bearings to remove the rust, and sealed it up then cleaned the fuel tap and pipework and put in a new fuel filter. Whilst all that was being done the battery discharged itself, so jumped it off the car battery today. It wont rev past 4k rpm and the engine misses a little. Revs stick too, though this could be my shitty throttle. Rev it past 4 and it gradually bogs down and dies. So, carb totally shitted up? Way out of adjustment? Or is it as simple as the bikes battery doesnt have enough power.

Ooh I fixed it... by putting about 5 capfuls of pro fts to my half tank of fuel and riding 6 miles with the choke instead of the throttle. Worked Shocked
