Suzuki GSX-R750, opinions needed!

Hiya all,

Im looking at buying a 750 gixxer, srad and wondered if anyone had some info they can share with me about them.

How do they handle on the road?
Whats motorway riding like on one?
Are the brakes any good?
Whats the gearing like? easy and smooth?
Whats the max mileage on one advised as? (before it costs more to upkeep than its worth).

Overall, would it be a good bike for me to ride, i've been on a bandit 600 for 1.5 years, 6 month on it un-restricted. Also had a year on a 125.
