Hiya guys,

The following site is the legacy left behind by Chernobyl. A US photographer went to Belarus and ended up spending time with the local children who had been abandoned since the disaster in a mental asylum.

Make sure your speakers are on as he narrates his photography. Never have I witnessed such a travesty of the human race as what he presents with his photographs. The humanity on display is astounding but what is so shocking is that in this world there is this kind of suffering going on.

The pictures are graphic, but I would consider them work safe. It is important that you listen to the narrative...Without it you will not understand why this is such an outstanding piece of work, nor the scale of the tradegdy.

If anyone was moved enough to help, as some people have on other forums, then you can go to https://www.chernobyl-international.com/home/default.asp for further information.

Try this one out.

Apparently the legitimacy of the site is dodgy but the pics are ace but pretty scary.
