Hey,

Welcome to my CB125 destruction, place your bets now as to if it will ever get put back together and run again Laughing

BEFORE (in all its ratty goodness):

https://mjleonard.myby.co.uk/pictures/bike.jpg

AFTER (in parts):

https://mjleonard.myby.co.uk/pictures/cbstrip/cb3.jpg

https://mjleonard.myby.co.uk/pictures/cbstrip/lump1.jpg

https://mjleonard.myby.co.uk/pictures/cbstrip/cylhead.jpg

https://mjleonard.myby.co.uk/pictures/cbstrip/carbs.jpg

https://mjleonard.myby.co.uk/pictures/cbstrip/micron.jpg

My plan is to remove any loose rust from the frame and hammerite it. The engine is going to be rebored and reassembled.

Watch ebay for cb125 in parts if all goes t1ts up Mr. Green

Exhausts look really good with a bit of elbow grease! They looked fully rust tastic on the downpipes.

A rebore and some hammerite and it'll be a damn good bike again. I'll donate some HRC stickers when it's done.

The grab rail was an utter **** but it came off with the help of a impact driver and a rather large hammer Cool

The problem I have now is one part of the suspension linkage is seized to the swing arm Confused

Meh, seized linkages add character.

Make sure you use plenty of grease and copperslip putting it back together.

Maybe invest in a big box of stainless nuts and bolts.

If you can saw and cut through them, cut one of the allen keys so you've only go the long bit left, stick it in a drill, tighten it as much as humanly possible, and try that. If not, penetrating oil should help. Laughing

I liked that bike! Sad It made my bike look good by comparison! Laughing

Like that's gonna work Rolling Eyes If the bolt is so tight that the allen keys are twisting rather than undoing it, a power drill will never budge it in a million years. Either get some better quality allen keys, or use an impact wrench.
