before i sicken you immensely how much did you pay?

socket and wiring kit was £20, a plug was £6 and I got a socket to cigarette lighter adaptor too, for £7, so i can use any car chargers on the bike.

touratech isn't the cheapest, but I like their quality

Would it not in thoery be possible to make one that allows you to charge the batter through it aswell as powering things?

It would allow you to charge the battery without having to remove seats/fairings

Totaly possible, but only at that max ampage (5 or 10 for them, not sure) so from a trick charger it would be fine, off another battery would be a defenate no no!

Good idea that tho..

yes, can do that with my sockets, as they have a 10a fuse, and arent switched thru the ignition.
