Why the hell is it that some of these blokes who ride there super shiny gsxr's n blades etc 3 times a year with fuk all protective gear on think they are fcuking rossi!?
Mad Mad

was riding down the a57 today heading to the last of the corners before the ladybower inn, im sure some of you will know them theyre extremely tight. anyways we caught some cars up before the corners doing about 40 Mad lol. and i could see in my mirror 2 bikes (a gixxer thou n a blade) flying towards us. As we got to the first of the corners the fukin dik on his gixxer with a t-shirt on cut in front of me on the corner then his nobhead mate UNDERTOOK me round the corner about 5 seconds after. who the fuck did they think they were?? they nearly sent me onto the otherside of the road with cars coming! they carried on overtaking all the cars in stupid places (all on double whites!) riders like this need to fucking wake up before they end up killin themselves or someone else!

deep breaths... rant over Thumbs Up Mr. Green

Lack of gear can be a bit silly on my ride yesterday I saw some one on a brand new zx10r wearing ..... a pair of flip flops a vest and shorts and a skull helmet Laughing

Its there own fault if they come off.

But its there choice I say leave 'em.

On the case of them riding like tossers f*ck them people like that are the ones that give bikers a bad name Confused

I see it all the time. If I typed all the times I see idiot riders my fingers would be down to the bone I wouldn't have any keyboard left to type with.

I've started to take it with a pintch of salt and just swear like hell to myself.

Ride faster then they won't have to force themselves past a slow rider getting in their way.

I just dont see how people can do it.

I find riding with out my gloves strange as hell im used to the gloves being there. But lack of gear would make me wince, last time I did that I rode in a tshirt was around a car park before I bought a bike and that felt strange as anything.

Its people choice maybe they spent all there money on a tarty helmet or insurance and cant afford gear.

Shame there wasn't a third, first one puts the wind up you, second one you take aim and third you boot into the hedge. Idiots who ride in groups like that - scaring other road users - eventually come a cropper, sadly they push up the rest of our insurance premiums and council taxes,

if the first idiot had made you swerve enough to give the second one no way through at speed, we'd now be answering a thread from biker one saying how his mate had had a bad off due to you pulling out without warning .... makes you think - doesnt it

(ps i'm not advocating booting a rider into the hedge - it was a joke)

To much 'road rash' has made me prone to want to kick people off, punch them or hit them with the odd chain.

Best bike game ever Mr. Green

I came across some arseholes like that yesterday, going through a small series of bends, the road takes a right hand bend and it's a blind bend too, so after I turn, I look and there is a gixxer heading straight for me in my fuking lane, the twat never made any attempt to pull over into his own lane, so I had to brake to about 15mph to stop the git hitting me: all this just for a knob to get the racing line.

I'd also like to ask, where are all the normal cheerful bikers?- usually everyone nods but several hours yesterday and today, not a single nod, except one papa john's ped boy, lol. And then today, chain comes off front sprocket, dozens of bikes go past and not a single one ask if I needed help, bah.

Anyhow if they only ride 3 times a year how would they have the skill to pass you, the muppets never pass me, I hunt them down. Its even more amusing in the wet (they get caught by a freak shower) as you fly up the inside, you can just imagine the look of horror on their face.

At the risk of sounding a c**t, i'm one of those 'arsehole sunday riders' albeit with full leathers hiking boots and MX gloves (can't afford bike boots or gloves, gotta save up for a bit)

I undertake, i overtake and when someone's going 'too slowly' i flip em off even though i know it's me that's riding like a loon. The speed limit out here is 120 KMH that's equivilant to 70 MPH and whenever i rented the RR i'd ride on the most dangerous highway in the world at about 240...double the speed limit, using the whole 7 lanes like it's an empty drag track.

Why do i do it? Because there's FUCK ALL of law enforcement to stop me, i know that once i move back to the UK i'll be a safety conscious bastard because the cops and speed traps are everywhere. So i figure, why not make the best use of the time i have? Razz

Every bike rider knows what can happen without wearing proper protection!!!

But if they still do it, its their problem if something happens and i can just stand there and laugh shouting that i told them so!!! Twisted Evil

Thumbs Down Ballocks to that.

I haven't got any leathers, and until I want to ride round a track, I won't be getting any (so might be sometime soon then Wink ). Decent textiles are far more comfortable and a damn lot warmer in Winter too. In Summer it'll be the Draggin pants for me.

True, some of us have both!! But I ride more sensibly in textiles than when I have my leathers on. (ie lean angle etc).
