Anyone know any good companies for insurance???

I have only been able to get one quote from Pit and Paddock and they want the same as I am paying for a year on my zx7r. At this rate I will be running with no fairings!!!

Any help would be most appriciated.

Trackday Insurance is very expensive, even if you get a cheap quote you will need to check out the excess.

One company I looked at came back with a quote of around £110 which didn't seem too bad, but the excess was £2000 Shocked

I've just chosen to self insure, also have bought a set of track fairings for the bike.

Chances are you will be fine, it's the red mist or stupidity that makes people crash

However as someone who crashed after 6 laps of a track day (not my fault) I also looked into this. Basically it's a rip off.
If you are really bothered then a better option is probably to hire a bike from a track day specialist.
