Just had to buy myself a new battery as my other one had given up the ghost, and while I was there I picked up an Optimate III SP. Just wondering if anyone knows roughly how long it should take to charge a new battery? There was no mention of it in the manual, and the battery had no paperwork with it.

Cheers.

About 100 miles.

Stick the battery in the bike, charge for a couple of hours, start the bike and go out for a ride, come home and plug in Optimate again. Thumbs Up

From looking at their website a very flat (or new) battery probably take about 2 - 4 hours to charge to cranking strength
Thumbs Up
