Hi

Just for comparison with the UK (although much of the article is on insurance against loosing your licence). Examples of points are at the bottom.

All the best

A lot of them make sense but I'm not sure about 2 points for forgetting to put your lights on, hopefully 'discretion' would be used...

What's the 'refusing tests' all about, that'd concern me a bit as it's very unclear...

I agree with stricter alcohol limits for learners and professionals etc (although I'm a self-imposed teetotal when riding or driving anyway)
However, some of the other rules seem very vague, and open to interpretation.... "Driving in a negligent way"?? I'm not sure if this interpretation is of any benefit to the motorist, or to the police Rolling Eyes

3 Points for using a manual mobile phone
3 points for not wearing a seat belt

Shame we don't have that here.

What made me laugh 4 points for ignoring the police. Mr. Green

Surprised nobody has commented on just 6 points for being over (roughly) the UK drink drive limit.

All the best
