I am going to make a flyer for a night i am involved with, i have only paintshop pro to have a go.

Is there something else i should be getting, i guess i need like a layering system and some nice blend tools.

Thanks

Paint Shop Pro should be adequate?

If you don't mind it looking Microsoft'd, just use Publisher (if you have it).

Paint shop pro is a very good, budget friendly professional editing tool. Its not as good as photoshop but its still a very good imaging suite.

Personally I much prefer Photoshop for any kind of graphics stuff, simple because I've been using it for so long, but last time I looked at Paintshop it was more than adequet for that kind of thing!

If you want an alternative you could try Gimp, its a ported Linux based app IIRC but can do quite a lot, considering its free, its often worth a shot if you don't get on with other packages.

macromedia fireworks is also good.
