Im going to the TT with a few other peeps next year. It got me thinking about insurance for some reason. Confused

The usual exclusions on a standard policy include, for hire or reward, racing or speed testing etc etc.

So my question is, would you be covered at such an event? Obviously trackdays are a big no no. Surely Mad Sunday is just an extension of the same? if side roads are blocked, traffic is one way and there is no speed limit, is it still classed as public road?
