Hi,

I have to do a powerpoint presentation for an interveiw of an apprenticeship im gong for. I have chosen to do it on bikes and biking, and need some information about bikers. I was wondering if you could just spend a few mins filling this out:

How old are you:

What type of bike do you ride out of these categories: (Sports, Commuter, 125, 50, maxiscooter)

What makes biking appeal to you?:

I'd be really greatful if you could take some time to help me out, if not don't worry Wink

How old are you: 25

What type of bike do you ride: Commuter

What makes biking appeal to you?:Fast bikes are relatively cheap, a fast car costs £50K+. Biking has a certain cool image. Gives a bit more freedom than driving cars.

How old are you: 17

What type of bike do you ride out of these categories: (Sports, Commuter, 125, 50, maxiscooter): What's a GSF400 Bandit?

What makes biking appeal to you?: Just the feel of the movement, the fact that something could happen to you any second and it could be deadly. I can't say wind in your hair because we have to wear helmets!

But I love the feeling of controling something powerful (I am an evil genious in the making, not) if you get what I mean.

And yes I know my bike isn't that powerful but I'm only 17!

Hope this helps.

What makes biking appeal to you?: The thrill of speed, to some extent the element of danger, the feeling of freedom after driving the car most of the week, and dressing up like iron man Thumbs Up

Sports - vfr400

Fun, bit of individuality, performance, the feeling of freedom and being able to do stuff you couldn't (or wouldn't want to) do in a car.

Age: 40

Bikes:
Tourer (BMW)
Sports (Honda)
Don't know what class of bike the Yamaha Diversion is, but I like it.

Reason for riding: Pleasure.
They are all different bikes that do different things, but they all make me smile as for me it is a way of escaping from all the rubbish that is part of modern life.

Hope that helps.

Don't worry, the data will still be useful Wink

oh and by the way, just looking at your sig.. you can get the theory out of the way at 16 if you like - I did it with a view of doing the full moped test, but decided against it.
But the theory I did will still be valid until 2 years after I had done it, which means I can use it when I turn 17 for a bigger bike!

bike: aprilia rs 125, classed as small sports.

why?: the individuality, the way you can just dissappeer into the bike and make all the stress and strains of life go away and concentrate solely on one thing, getting the bike round the next corner, hitting the next apex, and winding the bikeon untill its screaming for the next gear, then change down and brake into the next corner. and the fact that to alot of us, we own something that to us is our pride and joy, the coolest form of getting around on a sunday!

Knew there was something I forgot, happy birthday! Tomorrow.

I always get nods except off power rangers or cruisers, although I do get the occasional one from a cruiser Smile.

Getting nods make you feel great.

I was fuelling up in a gas station today, and I heard this comedy beeping sound, and it was an old guy on a small commuter bike trying to get my attention so he could wave at me Mr. Green made my day!

Haha awesome. I had a guy on a trike pass me before, he gave me a nod then later that day he followed me from mumbles to Swansea and I turned around at the lights and gave him a thumbs up.

Hope he didn't think I gave him the finger, he seemed pretty old.

Anyway, back to the original topic;

How old are you: 19

What type of bike do you ride: Sports - ZXR250

What makes biking appeal to you? Cheaper running costs with comparison to cars. The fact that you look dead cool going around town/uni wearing a leather jacket and carrying a lid about. The fraternal bond amongst bikers and err also the noise of bikes - very much alluring.
