My Continental Road Attacks are fantastic, can't rate them enough.

The different profile to the 020's took five minutes to get used to but now the are very confidence inspiring. They should last about 3000 miles on the ace, so i would expect 5000 miles on a lighter 600cc bike.

I would definitely go for a full set of conties, but if your finances mean you have to stick with the front 014 you might want to stick an 020 on the back as I wouldn't like to advise mixing brands. You should be looking at about 5k from an 020 as well.

I've got a pair of Pirelli Diablo Stradas, I have had no problems with them what so ever. Whether they will work with an 014 is another matter.

I'd say go for the 020's, grippy enough for knee down and last a lifetime.

sumone had put a 020 on the back of my cbr400 when i bought it, was suprised at how well it preformed, dont think it wore down in 5k an was grippy enought to put the knee down at will,

yeah go for conti road attacks iv just got a rear fitted a month ago and it hasnt failed me yet, iv compleatly lost the right side chicken strip and nearly lost the left without 1 single slip, u can even push it in the wet too Thumbs Up

I was in the same position as you, I went for the BT 020 rear, paid £95 delivered for it, brand new.

I have a BT 014 up front and they work well together, bikes feels planted around them corners Thumbs Up

I got BT020's on my bike now, can't really give a biased opinion yet, considering they were still being scrubbed in yesterday and I had a few "near misses" not so grippy on the edge of the tyres yet. Smile
