HI All,

Im Tony (can guess that from my username) and i am very keen to learn how to ride a bike, how i go about to do it, and setting my self a realistic bike and budget to start out on.

i have always been into fast cars, but unfortunately i had to sell the car as it was costing too much to run and i needed 5 doors...and i really miss that thrill...and from speaking to people a Bike really is the way to go

So i am 25, never ridden a bike (well apart from a push bike lol) and im looking to start as soon as possible. I have 2 speeding fines under my belt, standard SP30.

So guys where do i go and what do i do? i have no idea on the costs of a bike, running it, insurance etc so your help is very much appreciated.

Speaking to a colleague on mine, i wanted to start out on the fastest bike possible, well thats me really wanting to run before i can walk! he said perhaps best to start out on a 125cc and get used to the "feel" of a bike before moving onto bigger things.

anyway i leave it to you guys and gals

thanks

Tony
