I know people have had problems looking for the stuff in the past.

B&Q sell it at £4.99 for 4 Litres in the Garden Section.

My newly clean swingarm and chain thank you.

Yes I have used the stuff for ages for the really tough stuff, but you must hose it off very well as paraffin contains some acids which can eat into your bike.

But with the scottoiler I never have to clean my chain Wink

Yep, I must have said it half a dozen times now:

Tesco petrol stations sell it on the forecourt.

Don't think there's a 20 mile radius within England that doesn't have a Tesco these days. Certainly anywhere big enough to have a B&Q will have a Tesco.

Anyway, only mentioned it because you started a new thread. Could have just tagged it onto an old one.

My local Tesco petrol station never has any Sad

I went into a local petrol station the other day (not Tesco btw), and asked a very simple question: "Do you sell bottles of paraffin?"... to which the teller answered... "yes, but only if you have a container to put it in"... not quite sold by the bottle then! Think she was having a blonde moment! -I found it funny anyway!
