DR600, 1987... As a next bike after my test. In a previous thread someone mentioned that they don't produce either much more power than the 33bhp restriction, or produce on it, can someone clear that up for me? And opinions on that bike, cos I reckon it looks good.

It's the DR350 that produces about 33bhp, I should imagine the DR600 would be closer to 45/50bhp

EDIT: Didn't G have a DR600?

I wouldn't imagine it would lose that much in that time though. My 1989 KLR600 (claimed 45bhpish) still needed restricting to 33bhp last year and it did take a noticeable amount of performance with.

Naturally, I may be totally in the wrong though as I have about as much technical knowledge of engines as an elephant does. Embarassed

Hmmm... I dunno, my initial gut feeling was a dr350/drz400 but if i can get away with it, i'd rather have a larger displacement single.
