i went over a year ago and got arrested with my mates , because they wrecked the room in a drunken wrestling match (gay i know, i took no part lol) and got kicked outta asda for being drunk at 8am lol

there's a topless bar, which was good music and drink. and somthin nice to look at.

we headed into the bambu blu club, absolutly massive, loads of steps down to the bottom. um we trailed a few other bars but my mind is rather hazy.

went to lloyds for food, and some kebab shop up from were everyone stands to get taxi's

steer clear from the club in the middle (thats all i can remember , dont' go in , dodgey as feck) it has a door on one side and you can get out on the other. there's also a place called the cage bar. its dodgey as well.

oh btw. the bars are packed from 3pm onwards on a friday lol,

great place, i'd love to go back again,

Thumbs Up

Depends what ur after, if u want a quiet drink with friends go 2 the gate. But as its a stag night the bigg market would be more appropriate, Blu Bambu is good, Digital is good too, and if your into heavy rock music and underage girls try the Carling academy Wink

Blu Bambu or Bar Oz then? I've been told to head to the Quay side? That sound right?

Jesmond for the win, start there in some of the cool pubs.
Get a metro into central station and out into the irish bar. Then it's anywhere apart from the Quay side (over price) or the Big Market (squaddies looking for trouble).
