The demo for MotoGP 06 has just been released on Xbox Live for all you HDD owning 360'ers. I'm just downloading it now but it weighs in at an impressive 882.53MB

That's one for me to get downloading when I get home in the morning - It'll be ready to try by the time I get up Smile

Had a quick play before I came into work this evening and I must say I'm underwhelmed.

Graphics in MotoGP mode look good (apart from the chain which refuses to rotate Smile ) but the Extreme (street racing) mode looks way too cartoony with big heads and brights colours. Handling is not too bad, at least it doesn't feel that the bike is floating across the track.

I've only played MotoGP 3 on the PS2 as a comparison but the new game is not making me go weak at the knees. A few more laps and maybe some live action will help cement my opinion.

Yup, you can play some MotoGP action on Live, but no Extreme GP.

i`ve always found motorbike games to be lacking TBH, i think its hard to simulate the way a bike turns, i find on motogp the bike turns far too slowly.

I remember a game on the PS1 that i did like, it was called 'Moto Racer' and its sequel 'MotoRacer 2' that did a really good job of simulating the view from the seat through the fairing.
