I may get one of the spare pc's to try it on but i,m not going to bother if the IT wizards thinks its crap Wink

I don't like it, i prefer a stable OS in terms of life cycle and support, packages.

For home/personal use I use this

https://www.centos.org/

Free download + updates, it is the free version of this;

https://www.redhat.com/

It only doesn't have value added features, not used by me.

Other good Linuxes are;
https://www.gentoo.org/
https://www.slackware.com/

Even better OS for servers;
https://www.openbsd.org/
https://www.freebsd.org/

and for bsd noobs;
https://www.pcbsd.com/
