One quetion how do you get it for an 18 yer old and whats the lowest quote possible. :o

I did, £700 for TPFT with CIA Insurance. The details were: 18 year old, bugger all no claims, no convictions (I never did it, guv'nor), 33bhp restricted RVF 400 put down as being worth 5 grand, £100 excess, umm, garaged overnight in a fairly safe area.

Call around loads and loads of companies, because when I did the quotes varied wildly. CIA seem to be quite good for young peeps on sportsbikes, while people like Carole Nash quoted me sky high figures.

btw. AFAIK restriction doesn't alter insurance quotes
