oh have read a few conflicting argument on how to run in a bike.

argument 1 - ride it as hard as you can from the start

argument 2 - ride it as they say in the manuel.

For argument 1 they say its to create a good seal on the piston something or others. This they say is done in the first 20miles.

So what i propose is that run it using full revs and speed but not excessively har for the first 2omiles, then run it in gently for the rest.

Whats peoples veiw on doing this?

trick is to ride it easily for the first few hundred miles, but dont be afraid to wring its neck occasionally to make sure its all bedding in.

not so critical ona two stroke, but thrashing the hell out of a four stroke when new leads to tope end mayhem in later life as the valvegear wont like it.
