what bike?

hello all,

I'm looking around for my first bike, nothing too extreme. upto a 500. Seems like the Kawasaki ER-5 is a good bet but from what I've read slightly small for the 6ft rider, which I am.

I need a decent insight to what could be preferable to an ER-5. They seem to be pretty cheap 2nd hand, easy to ride, and economy. But I know ill be doing some long hauls, so maybe not best for that.

Enlightenment needed
