Recently bought my first bike, an SV650S K2, which is quickly going to be plastered in road crap as I'm commuting on it.

What do you guys 'n girls use to make the shiney bits, er, shiney again? Painted panels are easy enough with the joys of autoglym but what about cans, forks and other metalic bits?

cheers

Jamie

Soapy sponge to get rid of flys and a microfibre cloth from Tesco for £1.60 something for drying off. WD40 on wheels and metal bits to remove road grime/tar/chain lube/etc and if you want tarty some Autosol on the shiney metal bits. Be careful with Autosol though as it can be quite abrasive. I also have some Meguires wax that I bought of Ebay. Furniture polish such as Pledge, Mr Sheen is good too.

autosol , muck off ,

or

just cover it with a light mist of FS365 after clearning it and the dirt comes off real easy ,cept it burns off your down pipe and exhaust.
