Hi all. Because I don't have a bank account, I have to use my mates bank details to pay for my practical. It worked fine for the theory, but I am having trouble booking the practical. I've gone through everything and it asks for his name, I put it in as it is on the card, then it asks for the 'Card number'. But what is the card number? His card is a Solo. Also, it asks for a valid from and to date, but his card only has to date. Any ideas?

Card number will be the main large number on the front of the card, consist's of 16 number's, or thereabouts.

If your booking online there should be an option for Solo card's, if not they may not accept this form of payment. If they do however just enter the expiry date and leave the 'from date' section blank. This should go through fine.

OK, I thought that the card number would be the long one, I also that that it would be 16 digits long, but his is 17. Is that OK? You are allowed to use Solo as it's got the logo. What shall I do?

I've tried everything, leaving the from date empty, and filling in the card number with the 17 digits, but I get this message:

'The payment card details you have given us are wrong. Please try again using one of the payment cards above, or, give us the right number.'

I can't figure this out.

That's the screen to do it.

Although it does say:

'To use a credit or debit card to make a payment, you need to be the actual card holder.'

... It also says this for the theory and it worked OK then. Howeverr, it was his other card, but he has nothing in that one.

It's gone offline now. I think it comes back on again about six in the morning.
