AH!!!! insurance on the nsr

ok i passed my test now Very Happy

so happy... now do i need to tell the insurance that its derestricted?because it says has it been modded when filling out the online quote, and as far as im concerned it hasnt, coz i havent changed a thing, i just dont think it was restricted in the first place, but i did a check where i firslty got a quote with me telling them its derestricted, which i got a quote for 800. then i did a quote without saying anything about the mod, and its 499, with norwich or 600 with bennets. i wil prob go with norwich but wana make sure i wont get fucked over by them if i have an accident and they notice its not restricted

i personally woudnt tell them. if u have an accident it is VERY unlikely they will want to dyno ur bike. my mate had an accident and his de-restricted rs125 was written off and he only had his cbt. but it was never mentioned. its highly unlikely i wud say. if worse comes to worse you could just plead ignorance. how were you to know its not restricted?? When you say test, do you mean your full test? im guessing you do..

So I dont really see the point, surpose it wont help giving them a quick phone call ( a quick phone call which will take 1 hour and 33 mins.,, )
