Really?

I wouldn't of thought that did much for the engine mate, 60 in first must of been redlining the poor old girl to bits!

The close ratio gearbox in my ZXR allows for a 90mph 1st gear. Shocked

About 65, but I've never gone all the way to the redline. It's got a fairly long 1st gear, so I imagine about 70.

Edit: Tried it out earlier, got to 63 or so before the rev limiter kicked in.

I've done about 80mph on my NC30 in first when a lorry pulled out in front of me. Only thing stopping the back wheel from locking was the fact it was no where near the road at the time Laughing

It's good for about 60+, but i never do more than 50 as it'd rather let the torque of 2nd pull me along than bounce first off the limiter
