Hay ALL,

This is my firs post on here as i just found you lot, but im wondering if anyone on here can help me.

Im 16, 17 in just over a month and have my Prov. on the way, never realised ho slow the DVLA can be, lol... Once it gets here im going to do my CBT before i hit 17, as u have a 125cc Sitting here waiting for me as i hate them 50cc Scooters...

But the bike i have is an Aprilia Pegaso 125 (Not the useual 650, a 125cc One!). I dont think they ever came over here as the one i have is a used import.

Now ive gone one the DVLA and direct.gov etc... and have packs of form and sheets and im just getting soo confuzed on how to Register the thing for Road Use...

I have no docs with it except for the Sales Receipt, but i know it can be registered as other have done it whilst buying off the same importer as i got mine off (or suposidly Razz)...

This is i think i have to do so far:

> Get an MOT (Passed Razz)
> Fill out a VAT414 for self-declaration VAT for HM&Customs i think
> Then fill out V55/5 nfor imported used bikes for a first license or someting

Is this what i need to do, as im going round in circles and have had a V5C mentioned somewhere...

If someone can help it would be usefull as im getting a little confuzed, lol Rolling Eyes

Thanks alot,

Luke.

There is a Yahoo! group which is dedicated to import 125's (mainly new chinese machines) who I imagine might be able to help you (assuming registering an older import is the same as new) -

https://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/import125s/

I can't guarantee anything but it might be a good place to start.

Dont think that would quite be what im after as they're comming from a non-EU country and its quite different registering bikes from EU and Non-EU countries...

Thanks though.....

Any more help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
