It's that time of year again, I`m a great believer in "cheapest isn't always best"

I'd rather have a slightly dearer premium, and better service.

Again recommendations for companies, any to avoid?

Cheers!

you need to ring round,

'A quote' who I'm with give you AA cover free which I've used dispite not wanting it over the phone.

Bennets are slated for their lack of ability to send out no claims certificates.

I can also warn away from the underwriters NIG who took 12 weeks to send a cheque through for a stolen bike which had been recovered a week after it was taken.

Oh I don`t mind ringing around, I tend to do that anyway. I was just wondering about people's dealings with particular companies.

I know sometimes you can get shite service from any company, but some names seem to reoccur! Laughing

It`s not too bad, £130 fully comp on my RS. 6 years NCB this year. But, it's always worth ringing around!

who'd you get that with? and what's the compulsary excess on it?

cheapest i got for a cbr400 was £700 odd, with a £400 excess from norwich union. outside of that it's £1100 with a £150ish excess.
