When doing very low speed manoeuvering you only use the rear brake. When moving faster you almost entirely use the front brake, maybe with a small amount of back brake. In the dry, 80/20 or 70/30 bias towards the front brake is often suggested, though 50/50 is more usual in the wet.
Importantly, never touch the front brake when doing a U turn or you're going to end up in trouble! ____________________ Monster m600

An optimist will tell you the glass is half full. The pessimist, half empty. The engineer will tell you the glass is twice the size it needs to be. |
