I'm looking for a cheap bike for the summer that i can maybe fix up if needs be, or not, and just use for a bit of summer fun. Very Happy

I was thinking along the lines of anyone who maybe had an old 400/500/600 with wrecked fairings and they just wanted rid of?
I'd ideally like to be able to just take the fairings off, service it, whack a streetfighter headlight on it and go. But this isn't a must if you have something different to this.
Not interested in old commuters though, needs to have atleast a sporty edge to it to keep up with biking mates!

Preferably looking to spend no more than £500, so let me know if anyone has anything they think is suitable. Thumbs Up

Thanks for looking!

Can I suggest something like a Honda CB-1. A little 400, I've got one and have absolutely no problems keeping up with any bigger sports bikes around the twisties.

Very revvy engine, sounds awesome with a Scorpian can, drop the yokes 5-10mm, fit some uprated fork springs and theres not a lot that'll keep up with you around the twisties.

Ok cheers for that Davo, thats a great help actually as i was thinking bout whether a slightly less sporty 400 such as a CB-1 or Bros would be able to hack it so you've just answered my question. Thumbs Up

Anyone got anything out there?

Cool that looks pretty ideal actually, do you know how easy it would be to get an aftermarket can for it?

Anyone else?

Had a search on ebay and found a few different brands including:
Predator
Nexxus
Marving
IXIL

And I think Harpoon may do one.

Attached is a later pic of the bike with a black front guard as the original was chipped.
