Apparently Ferrari need to know what Rossi's doing by the next MotoGP round. I hope he stays in MotoGP to challenge the championship as an 800cc class.

According to this he's staying in MotoGP in 2007, but I don't know if this is true or not:

Sources very close to MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi say that the reigning world champion won't be racing F1 next season after all.

Sources say that Rossi and his manager informed Ferarri Corse yesterday that he has decided to race MotoGP in 2007.

I really hope he stays. Moto GP at the moment is nicely poised. It is a perfect challenge for Rossi. There's a host of young riders all capable of competing with him and plenty of exciting racing to be had. I'm sure they all see him as the one to beat as well so it pushes them on.
If I were him I'd want to stick around and show the how it's done. Thumbs Up

if he wins this season he will leave and go to F1, if he doesnt he will continue motoGP in 2007. i cant see rossi walking out on motogp unless he is at the top.

well thats what i think from reading his book anyway.....

He doesn't have that much time, apprently the deadline is by the next round, so we should know what Rossi's doing for sure in the next couple of weeks.

I say send him to WSB.

He's had his sucess in MotoGP - time to find it somewhere else before it starts getting boring like F1 was

It's hardly been boring this season so far, given Rossi's uncharacteristically shocking start - if anything, the spread of riders getting on the podium is making it more interesting this year than in the past, I'd say.

Next round will be a real test, the ducatis and hondas run very well at mugello. If rossi wins there i say he is favourite for the title.

I think Rossi will shock us all this season. But unless Yamaha get this chatter sorted out i dont think he'll be able to do much, i was gutted for him last weekend. I think whatever he does he will succeed at wether its motoGP or F1. He is a natural born racer.

Rossi isn't goin F1, Ferrari already have two drivers potentially signed up bassed on Schumachers descision.

Rossi wont be in F1 next year, 100%.

I agree - Rossi said himself last week that he intends to stay with bikes for a while to come.
