I agree with the exhaust being shorted it’s much better.

There are two more things you must do:

1. Paint the wheels red or black or anything else, white is too much.

2. LOOSE those grips now!

I was waiting for that aswell... however i was epecting it to come with the other comment, maybe i over estimated you.

So i ride a GS500... did i once big it up? I dont see my post saying "Honest oppinions on my bike!!!"... do you? No. So i dont want your oppinion on my bike. It may be a shed, but im the first one to say that Thumbs Up

So are you actually saying, that you wont take my comments, because i ride a GS500? Laughing And your the one calling me a kid.

Seriously, just go home. I honestly think you would have been better spending your money on a savings account, for a bigger bike when your old enough Thumbs Up Not waste it on a half assed street fighter conversion.

As said above - its not a streetfighter mate, its like throwing road tyres and smaller wheels on a crosser - then saying its a super moto.

Still, nice try though, and good luck Thumbs Up

Sell it and buy a 600 sports with a race can like everyone else.

Either that or be happy with being an individual (well, as individual as anyone with a modded bandit can be Wink )

For what it's worth, to echo what many have already said. If it was mine i'd do the wheels darker, move the stubby lower or replace the standard can, and lose the grips.

I don't like it.

The frame looks different though, has it been modded?

Those lights are too cliche'd. Don't like the grips at all. The can looks ok when it's mounted lower.

Do you have that old can? My bandit would love it.

At the end of the day, it's still a bandit, not enough ground clearance, not enough power, and not really that great for pissing about with stunts.

And 60bhp? not likely, yours is the UK version which is less powerful than the Jap imports and they make (supposedly Very Happy ) 56 bhp and 59 depending on the year.

i think i have said approx 60bhp and i am pleased with it but as like most bikers you want something bigger and better or else why bother riding and also it does have a uk spec front end with single disc but it was first registerd by the dealer 2005 in the uk everyhthing else is import spec trust me i have been trying to find spares for it from the dealer. the people i brought it off was project bike and they do specialise in jap imports.

Yep I noticed that, but the rest of the specs are pretty much the same as the German version.

Anyway, t'is no streetfighter Wink.

This is a streetfighter, andI would be quite happy if it were my bike.

Honest opinions?

You can't streetfighter a bandit because it's already a naked bike.

I think 'custom' would be a more appropriate name, or maybe 'modified' - as for what to do next (though seems like it's too late), the obvious thing would be to ride it Wink.

agreed G, as far as i was aware, streetfightering a bike was taking a faired bike(often after a crash) and making it a custom unfaired one.

if you want custom...shorten the subframe and seat to fit, grab a set of 2005 forks with some radials and make them fit, set of wavies too. get smaller lights(i think) which are the brightest thing since a lighthouse, then paint it a large number of stupidly bright colours and add strange shapes...or failing that, matt black.

also, you might wanna think about chroming or polishing the frame and swingarm, or maybe bolting on a diff swingarm.

as it looks now......its a bandit. it looks like just about what everyone does to a bandit. nothing new or exciting.

Sure as hell nothing unusual about it, therefore as a slightly tarted Bandit 400, it's a pile of cheap Suzi tat, with cheap bells and whistles.

I wish people would either spend proper money to do the job properly or leave the standard bike the hell alone.

A cheap modification always looks cheap, end of.

Sorry, but as you may have guessed, I'm not a fan of Bandits in general and particularly not that one.

As long as you the owner likes it that is all that matters!!!

And in my opinion it wouldn't be worth going over board with the mods as you will soon want something with a bigger engine and lose money when its time to sell. Thumbs Up

Mike.
