You need a full (unrestricted) licence or a ACU race licence to do trackdays.
If you not safe enough to ride on the road (ie have a licence) I dont want you on a track within a million miles of me!

All MSV (motor sport vision) tracks require a full license for track days and most over tracks. You will probably not be able to do a track day without a road license.

Test days are different and you can have a race license without a road licence which will qualify you for test days and racing (which is much more fun anyway) contact the ACU (Auto Cycle Union) and they can give you more info.

Its easier and better for him to pass his test first. If he is such a good rider, then he can pass his test - especially as it is a lot cheaper than a trackday.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

If he's good enough to ride on a track in close proximity to others at high speed then he's good enough to go and spend £50 and get his test passed.

How exactly has he become a good rider if he has no experience on the road or race track?
