Just got home after riding 300 miles from the scottish border after taking the train up and buying this low mileage FX400R grey import, shares the same engine and cycle parts as the gpx400/600 so parts are,nt a problem and is a nice comfey 400 and will make a good commuter/touring bike.

Only problem l had on the way back was a argument with a pratt on the M6 toll gate who refused to charge me the bike rate of £2.50 and would only let me through the barrier if l payed the car rate of £3.50 even though l was on a bike and it was clearly displayed that bikes pay £2.50 during the day. Rolling Eyes

That's a nice bike, what did you get out of it on the way back? You using that as a tourer?

I might have seen you on the way home, I was out and about by that way today Laughing

Was thinking about going under the barrier but it looked too low to get the bike under, had to pay the extra £1 as l was,nt in the mood to kick up a fuss over a £1 and l really want to get home.
