Yep bit of a shitter with the bike, three trophies on Sat then Sunday second to last corner on the last lap just as I was confident I could take 3rd place it decides to cut out - words cannot describe
Loved the wet with the new tyres was a bit nervous from the crash at Mallory but slowly got my confidence up throughout Friday testing.
Was happy getting some more points from starting at the back for the last race, was almost 2 seconds slower in this race but didn't want to risk loosing yet more points so just kept it on the track and got 9 points from it I think.
A lot of work is needed on the bike including suspension but talks with SDC Performance might mean a 'working' bike in the near future if all goes to plan |

Another mostly good weekend, three trophies on Saturday was good but the bike cutting on on Sunday at the end of the race was a real shitter, when Jon got off it he looked ready to throw it over and start kicking it.
Second race that day went quite well, asked Jon just before what place he'd be pleased with getting, "top 10 finish would be good". End of the first lap and he goes past in 9th.
Bring on Snetterton in a couple of weeks time.
Oh yeah, never buy a Homebase gazebo that says "sides included" as what it actually means is "bits of mesh for sides included which as you'd expect isn't waterproof." |
