Hi everyone
Can anyone tell me how to derestrict a FZ1S 2006 model? Just bought it, a Fazer 1000 with fairings, but the dealership said it needed to be derestricted! Pictures and guides are appreciated!
Thanks

You bought one of the most powerful bikes released this year, and you want it to go faster?!

The only thing I can think of is that there have been several problems highlighted with the fueling on the new FZ1 Fazers - perhaps the guy in the shop meant that you might want to get a powercommander and get the injection map sorted?

You'd be a fool to buy a 150bhp bike and restrict it to 33bhp!

I think you have misunderstood me, new laws (I live in Norway btw) say that bikes have to be restricted when sold. Its not restricted to 33bhp, but to 110bhp, I just want to get the full power out of it thats all! But I called Yamaha and they guided me through the process, had to remap the ECU and ground a wire thats it!
Thanks anyways!
