das insurance ?

I am sitting my das on one of my bikes. I have only insured it today and wont have the docs through on time. Do I need a copy of insurance to sit my Das ?

Prolly not as you are insured from the date/time you specify but why dont you phone the school that you are doing your DAS with and ask em Thumbs Up

Im not doing it with a Das school. I'm doing it on my own. The Das school I was doing it with told me they could not get me a date before my CBT runs out. This was a lot off shit and there only after more off my money.

You cant ride a bike over 125cc on a provisional licence without a qualified instructor.

Do you mean your actual test?

You have to sign a form stating that you are insured to ride the bike, but that's it. I've always done my test on a school bike, though, so maybe they just assumed it was insured Thinking. Would surprise me, though.

As mentioned above though, remember that you're not allowed to ride the bike to the test centre yourself if it's DAS legal, and you only get to ride away on it if you pass Neutral
