Ive been checking over my plug leads and have found one of the plug caps is a bit of a loose fit on to the spark plug
so i am looking to replace it
i was looking on the net for one and the sites i looked at wanted to know what type i needed????????

I looked on ebay and found a set for a gsxf750 they looked the same as the ones on my GSXR750 but im not sure


Any help / info appreciated

If only it was that easy

the sites i looked at either just gave you a type code ie svo5
or wanted to know spark plug size,
length of cap, angle..etc etc

Just pop into your local friendly bike shop or suzuki dealer and ask for a plug cap for your bike.

Any GSF, GSXF or late GSX caps leads, coils etc are the same as any 1985-1995 GSXR750.

if you havea 1985-1991 750 then its more or less exactly the same engine.

Although I wouldn't bother my arse buying OE manufactured ones. Just get a pattern NGK one, they work fine and are probably better made.

Any bike shop should sell you one or failing that, even halfords or suchlike.

Take the old one with you to compare shape and size, it will almost certainly be a resistor type plug cap.
