Neighbours son in law's got one of those and he 's not got a spark at either plug.
Is it likely to be the regulator ?

Do you mean the Freewind? - 650 single (twin spark head).
It won't be the regulator that has nowt to do with the initial start up, if you're guessing that to start with I'd get someone else who knows a bit more to have a look over it. Mr. Green

Cheers bezzer, Thumbs Up
It,s second hand info to me, but it sounds like a freewind and it's got two spark plugs.

Can anyone else throw any light on the subject, I was explaining to my neighbour how good the forum is, so don't let me down Embarassed

If the battery charge is good and all the connections have been checked I'd suspect the coil first.
