1992 Suzuki Vitara

Bought about a month ago, not really needed any more as we now live close enough to work (and amenities) without the need of a car (and the cash would be useful!).

Here's a link to the original Ebay ad:

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4633732528&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

The reserve wasn't met, but I paid £900 out of the auction. Please ignore the whole "LPG" thing mentioned in the auction, as it's just plain unleaded. Does about 180-200 per tank (about 35 litres), so fuel consumption is pretty good for a 4x4.

1.6l engine - enough grunt to get you away from the lights, but is happier around town/lanes than on the motorways.

The condition is as described in the auction. It's not mint, but it's cheap and ideal as a runaround, or as a first car (so you're worried about adding to the scratches!).

Has about 11 months MOT and 5 months tax (although I need to chase up the DVLA for my tax disc).

Insurance for a 25 year old with no NCB and 6 points (SP30s) is £450 (Fully comp, hire car, legal cover etc - £150 excess), which is pretty good.

Have to be honest with myself, so I'm not looking to recoup my outgoing money, so I'm open to reasonable offers. Once again, it's NOT mint, so if you're fussy about details, don' bother Wink But it IS solid and mechanically sound, just the bodywork that could be better...

Viewings in Bath welcome, along with test drives.
